I’m located in van nuys, ca.
I was reading on a different thread that the sata will out last the tekna. Is this true. My finishline 3 gave up in 1 year. So I’m worried if I get the tekna it will do the same?

I won’t bother you after this any more and I appreciate all the advice. How can I demo these guns? Ask my local paint supply? Go to other body shops and ask them?

Got you! Thank you for explaining! I feel I am more of a medium to fast. Do you know the difference between the tekna prolite and the devilbiss plus? Also blending and color matching is very important at my shop. I know it is mostly up to me on how the colors blends but witch gun RP or tekna sprays base better?

Please I want to clarify what you guys mean by the speed I paint. For example if I see the the clear is coming out fast I will move faster vice versa.

Sorry last question for the night. Do I need a different air cap for bc and cc on the iwata?

By fast and dangerous do you mean it will easily run if I am not careful?

I don’t know why but I feel that if I am spending 400 500 on a devil bias I should just go all out and buy a rp. I am a fast learner. Is there much of a difference between a finish line and a tekna? I think I have narrowed it down to sata 4000 rp , iwata LPG 400(not sure if I can use for both bc/cc) devilbiss tekna. Also what’s the difference between a rp and the hvlp? Less overspray and able to spray at Lower psi?

My finish line came with a 1.3 and 1.5 and I have been using the 1.5 because the omni plus seems to be to thick for the 1.3. I don’t know if that is what you mean.
